The Madrona West is the best of the northwest. Inside you are greeted with breath taking views of Admiralty Bay from the spacious living room with high ceilings and large windows. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and a dining space for 10 as well as 3 counter stool seats. Eclectic mid-century modern combined with vintage touches warm up this cozy space for you to relax, connect and enjoy the quiet moments. Restful spaces include 4 large bedrooms 3 of which have a king bed and the 4th has a queen bed. All bedrooms have amazing water views. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to make and serve meals for your friends & family or to prepare for a quiet meal for two. Nearby, the den has an 65" tv and cozy couches for movie nights. The spacious covered deck overlooks a lawn and expansive views of the water with jaw dropping views of the sunset over the mountains. Enjoy the outdoor dining table or the covered deck with oversized chairs. Go out back for a game of basketball or pickleball on the sport court or challenge your family to a game of ping pong on the outdoor table! We are dedicated to providing a truly high quality guest experience and have obsessed over the details. From the moment you arrive, you'll find everything seamlessly in place, allowing you to effortlessly relax and enjoy meaningful connections with your friends and family. The lawn is not watered to conserve water and to promote bank ground stability. Because of this, the lawn does dry up and yellow around mid July depending on rainfall and greens back up late September. The house does not have ac, but temperatures are generally cooler on the island and all bedrooms have overhead fans.
Other Details to Note
Please add your pet count along with your people count when you book. We do ask that when dogs are outside that they are kept on a leash and within the boundaries of the property. The neighbors have two small dogs secured by an invisible fence, and they’re understandably concerned about keeping their pups safe and comfortable. There is comfortable parking onsite for 5 vehicles, however about 7 vehicles can squeeze in with some creative parking. Access to the beach is a 15 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood down to Ledgewood Beach Park. There is a pathway at the southeast corner of the property leading to the ledgewood neighborhood. There is a 2nd home on the property which is a smaller guest cottage that sleeps 4 and is rented separately. The 2nd home has its own private entrance and distinct private areas. The only shared amenity between the two homes is the sport court which is closer to the guest cottage. The water side and hot tub area have good privacy without any line of sight to the guest cottage. We often get inquiries about hosting weddings at the property, but we are not currently able to do so. Additionally parties are not allowed. The 4th bedroom is just off of the main living room area. The bedroom wall separating the living room area is about 9' high, but does not go all the way to the ceiling so this room will have reduced sound privacy. The property is within the outer path of the Naval Airbase Jet training area. The jets typically practice Tuesday through Fridays, however they do not fly on weekends. They tend to fly at a distance a bit to the north, however they fly closer to the property in their way to the practice area and as they wrap up on their way out. The house itself has good sound isolation. Privacy disclosure: The property has security cameras on the exterior of the home only. There is a camera at the front entryway exterior and one overlooking the driveway and sport court.

Guests will have the entire home to themselves. There is a guest house on the property behind the basketball court that is not currently included.
